When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful, a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical. All the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily, joyfully, playfully watching me. But then they sent me away to teach me how to be sensible, logical, responsible, practical. And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable, clinical, intellectual, cynical. There are times when all the world's asleep, the questions run too deep for such a simple man.

HOLY CRAP!!!!
Yup - it's WAY more expensive on the west coast!
Let's get our bikes out C-Mac! :)
HOLY!! I'm still paying $2.05-$2.09 in the central Jersey area. We saw a Shell station demanding $2.19 for regular and thought that was insane. Where you are takes the cake!
in CA recently we paid $55 to fill up the car!! insanity.
Yeah, I hear CA is insane.... if it gets to $3 a gallon here, I am jogging to work1
All I can add to that is thank goodness I have a 4-cylinder! Not that I like these prices and it is getting scary. We should all try unneceesary driving where we can help it. Also the word is to ban Exxon and Mobil(I' sure that e-mail circulated your way) I've been sticking to that myself. See how well it's working?
I thought I hit the jackpot yesterday when I randomly got off at an exit in Spartanburg SC and the gas was only $2.10!
