Blogless Day

Damn, I have seminars all day and will be out of the blogging loop. I hate sitting around listening to bullshit, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I'll leave the great people who read this "Bored at the Beach" nonsense every day with these questions:

If you could invent an amusement park ride that would give you a certain feeling or emotion what would that feeling or emotion be? (Be Creative!) I'd probably invent one of those big pirate ships that give you an orgasm each time it swings from one side to the other. That would be a hot ride.

Also, what amusement park ride do you REFUSE to go on and why?

I'll leave you with those today.....I'll be reading all of your blogs tonight. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

I would invent a ride that captures the feeling each time I see you CMAC. That would be butterflies.

Ya can't beat the orgasm ride, that's for sure. Can we get a ride designed that can match the pleasure of a hot fudge brownie sundae?

Yet again, I agree with your initial proposition, CMac. And the 2-week vacation idea from Darian.

As for a sensation-type ride, I'd want to re-create the "day after moments." You know, the ones where, after a pretty amazing date (no matter how far it went), you get freeze-frames of it during the next day which completely distract you and make you just stop and smile (or laugh, or shiver...)

Something I just won't ride? The free-fall ones (of the parachute nature). I just don't like that pit-in-my-stomach feeling.

I dream that i can fly a lot which is really cool. I'd invent a ride where it would simulate flying.

I won't go on bumber cars...I HATE bumber cars. I always get mine stuck in the corner with some stupid 5 year old repetedly ramming his car into the side of mine. HATE.

An Orgasm ride might be dangerous. I for one, might fall out of my seat if I wasn't strapped down. Anyway I'll go on any ride, but I'm incredibly scared of heights and big roller coasters. I'll go on them, but I'll hold on for dear life

The instant "sitting on the beach w/a cold beer in hand" ride - but only if it gives you the sweet sun/alcohol induced buzz feeling.

Hate the drop from 5 stories rides. Can't do the stomach in the throat thing. Kills the sun/alcohol buzz instantly :-).

I want the "Monday morning returning to work" house of horrors ride.

as to refusing to go on a ride, I hate the Log Flume as it is very boring and the water that splashes you is always fetid. I stick to the hardcore roller coasters for the most part.

I like rides that simulate you are somewhere else. Like I remember one in Disney that you watch a film and it feels like you're skiing.
Maybe there can be one where either George Clooney or Brad Pitt is in the film and they are looking at you and telling how hot you are and it shows them getting closer for the big "kiss" and you brace yourself thinking it's really going to happen until the last minute. It could be good while it lasts. Doesn't hurt to dream(fantisize).
I do not like really steep roller coasters. I more of the old wooden ones Rolling Thunder at Six Flags.Although I loved Space Mountain because it's a roller coaster in the dark and you can't tell how high you are.

A TRULY SCARY fun house or haunted mansion or whatever the hell they're called these days! Remember going in them as a kid and they were completely lame?!

Hm, not feeling particularly creative right now, but the rides I just can't go on are the ones where you can see the HUGE drop (there's one at Great Adventure). I love rollercoasters but that feeling when you are on your way down the coaster but your stomach is still up at the top somewhere...ugh.

The Fear Factor House of Mirrors. It's a mirror maze and everytime you turn a corner the mirrors all around you engulf you. You feel surrounded by or in the middle of a gross or scary situation being displayed. All subject to interpretation, but universal things would be Spiders, Sharks, Maggots, Snakes, dead people,etc... You turn a corner and all of a sudden you feel like your sitting in a pit of snakes or trying to stay afloat and alive in a sea of sharks circling...These Mirrors would have to be 360 degrees with each corner turned. Your worst fears surround you.

I love when someone or a movie can scare me, gore doesn't do it for me, but if you can freak me out...that's cool!
