When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful, a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical. All the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily, joyfully, playfully watching me. But then they sent me away to teach me how to be sensible, logical, responsible, practical. And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable, clinical, intellectual, cynical. There are times when all the world's asleep, the questions run too deep for such a simple man.

What Fred says reminds me of that Simpsons episode were Mr. Burns had to eat the 3 eyed fish named Blinky.
Oh, I -like so many others it seems- am not such a Bush fan. I could go on and on, but I have three kids here wanting to eat breakfast and I think I should comply before they explode!

I read another blog and someone made a great comment:
George Bush Jr. is doing the best he can in this terrible crisis. We are all brothers and sisters and should come together in this terrible crisis.
I asked my mom this morning, after hearing that W's approval rating is at the lowest EVER that a President's rating has been in a long time...something like 38%...if we could boot him out of office BEFORE 2008. Too bad it doesn't work that way. And I agree, what an incredibly distasteful photo. Throw HIM back into the water!
I just shake my head when I look at that photo.
