Did anyone see the story on the news about the cruise ship that was attacked by pirates? It sounds pretty funny but it is true.

The modern day pirates tote machine guns and rocket propelled grenades rather than swords and hooks. The attack happened at about 5:30am aboard the Seabourn Cruise Ship 'Spirit' off the coast of Africa. Imagine partying all night on the ship to be awoken by a pirate attack at 5:30am? I'd be pissed. You're all fucked up from 12 straight hours of drinking the day/night before, not to mention the onboard karaoke contest, and the Electric Slide and your ass is awoken by douche bags firing machine guns at you. Guess the pirates wanted the ho ho hoes and the bottles of rum on board.
The boat was carrying 150 passengers and 160 crew members, isn't that ratio a little wacky? One plus crew member for every passenger? The "pirates" never made in on board the cruise ship, they were in two small 25' boats with four pirates on each boat circling the cruise ship. I guess the throwing of the pineapples and bottles of Bacardi scared off the pirates. I don't know about you, but if I was the captain of the cruise ship with a boat that size, I'd be running those fuckos over in those little boats.
I guess cruise ships will now have to have missiles and rocket launchers on them. What is this world coming to? You can't even float around the ocean getting drunk and laid anymore without fear of an attack.
It's Election Day, get your asses out and VOTE!!!!! Even if it's just local stuff in your area, the local stuff plays more of a role in your day to day life than anything, VOTE!!!!!!!!

Apparently the captain did try to run one of the boats over. You hear how the big boat escaped the evil pirates? They hit them with a so-called sonic weapon that "blasts earsplitting noise in a directed beam." (thanks, CNN!) Man, I gotta get one of those to deal with the thunking, clunking noisy neighbor upstairs!
