Friday is here, and for some reason I went to sleep and woke up with "Georgia on My Mind." Imagine that, a New York boy with Georgia on his mind! Awesome! One of my other blogging friends posted that he's off to Georgia this weekend for a wedding. What is it with Georgia recently??
Ray Charles is a musical genious.
You've got me beat in the odd wake-up department. Me? I woke up this morning after dreaming that my father was King Henry VIII. He doesn't look good in tights.
It really just means that you can't get us sweet Georgia Peaches off your mind. Admit it. ;)

When I worked at Lincoln Center I saw Ray Charles three times in concert. Once he threw a hissy fit in the dressing room and refused to come out on stage.
