I woke up this morning, and to my surprise, this was the view from my front deck:
First Snow of the Season In NY
I was in serious denial that summer was over, I guess reality has slapped me in the face this morning! I want to move to a tropical island.....from now until March here in NY, it is loooooooooong and cold........I can't wait for baseball.

Wow, that's a scene I'll never see from my front window. Better you than me - I'm way too much of a whimp. When it hits the low '60's, I start wearing layers under my clothes and cranking the heat up to 75! On the other hand, I've never had a snowball fight or had to dig my car out of the snow. Wait a minute...that's a good thing! ;)
Although it looks pretty, it definitely looks too chilly to be out there. ;) I miss the summer too.
Brrrr.....
Stay warm up there, Charlie!
We thought we were going to see a little of that junk down here in Jo-jah, but we escaped. Now, it will rain for the next 3 months. Personally, I think I would much rather it snow...
Enjoy your last day of the weekend! Does Bruce have a jacket he can wear?
Shrinkagggggggggggggggeee!!!!!!!!!
Thats the same view I have too!
I do love the snow though.
The inbetween stage of slush I can do without.
When it just slowly recedes i'm happy. No ice.
just there and then gone!
Works for me!
I dread the shoveling and snowblowing and the tons of ice melt we go through each year. Snow isn't too bad it's the ice I can live without. But I hear it's not going to be that cold here in NY this winter. I hope that's true.
